secrets

So we all know the story about living a life of deception.  If you've seen a movie like "Splash", you've certainly seen it in the movies.  For television, we have the popular television show, "Dexter".  But these are examples of fun and games in Hollywood.  What happens when a person tries to live a life of deception in real life?
Such a life may begin innocently enough.  You fudge a number or two when it comes to your age.  Then it escalates to a fudged GPA.  Maybe it then progresses to you lying about your marital status.  And perhaps it's all to impress a woman that seems beyond reach if she were to see you as you really are.
To some it may seem desperate and pathetic.  But what if the tactic actually works.  Would living a lie be worth it in that case?

The song started as a single line, and has now become an entire song on youtube, complete with a little video.  I'm no musician, so the song is quite simple.  But it still plays in my head from time to time.  Making the video on my computer was, at least, rewarding.

One person's secrets are another person's lies.  I enjoyed writing the song and writing this post.  I hope you enjoyed reading and listening.
